Monday's Training

Double Clean, Squat, Push Press - 12 kg bells
2/minute for 20 minutes
RPE - 6
-This gave me plenty of rest. Dare I say too much? I've been having trouble with the third rep jacking my hips. Doing two kept my reps perfect. I checked my ROM often and found it consistent throughout.

Snatches - 12 kg - 12 x 8 L, R
20 seconds rest between sets
RPE - 6

I did more of my Zscription and I can really feel an improvement, especially when I train. I wish I could explain what Z Health does for a person, but it is one of those things that you have to experience to understand, I guess.

Not too much rest, the perfect amount of rest.
T.S. Eliot was right! "Only those who risk going too far can possibly know how far one can go."

Since you already know what jacks your hips because you went too far, now you know how far to go. This logic stuff is cool! Really, you are smart for knowing and staying within your limitations. Plus, you get to do perfect reps! Happy New Year Amy!

John,
I always have a battle between my head and my body when my body doesn't want to cooperate with my idea of what I should be able to do. The biofeedback should help me on all fronts - allowing my brain to tune into, and listen to, my body.

I just wish I had more knowledge of physiology. Over all these years I've been reading literature. I should switch to anatomy and physiology. Hey! I might be on to a goal for 2010.

So, what's in store for you in 2010? I'm looking forward to following your progress!

Your biofeedback plan makes good sense. As for me this year, the same. Press half my body weight and snatch the 28kg 200 times in 10 minutes. It'll only take a whole year! :)

Oh, I know you are having a minus freezing, cold and snowy winter, but I thought you might want to know that my neighbor's raspberry crop is still producing. Half the leaves on the plant are gone or brown and and the few berries that exist are about 75% as sweet as during the Summer.

Have fun at Grip n' Rip. Sounds like fun!

Okay, now you are just being evil! ;) What I'd give for some fresh raspberries, or even the weather the is needed to produce them. Grrrrrr!

How can I get you back? Well, I can make a snowman and you can't! :P

Enjoy your sunshine while I'm in a blizzard AGAIN!
